Physicians Insurance is the go-to source for risk-management consulting, continuing medical education, and claims administration services for medical firms in the Pacific Northwest. As the largest insurer of physicians in Washington State, they have established themselves as the experts in providing comprehensive coverage and support for the medical community.

The Goal: Physicians Insurance wanted expert assistance to make a smooth transition of multiple sites to Drupal 10, making upgrades hassle-free with the latest features and improvements.

Our work in a nutshell:

• Migrating PhyIns.com and MedchoiceRRC.com to Drupal 10
• Consolidating multiple web properties into the parent company site
• Upgrading and improving API integrations with ERP systems and LMS
• Creating a shared resource library accessible across web properties
• Developing an enhanced Careers page
• Implementing modules to enhance customer support capabilities

• Physician Insurance's website seamlessly integrates with external entities, ensuring a smooth and effortless data presentation. With a multi-tiered role-based access control, users can enjoy customized registration and authentication work flows. The implementation of data access guidelines based on users and program selection adds an extra layer of security.
• Plus, the website seamlessly integrates with third-party healthcare LMS, making the user experience even more convenient. With an intuitive and faceted search feature, finding the information you need has never been easier.

• In collaboration with the Physicians Insurance team, we carefully assessed various aspects such as integration touchpoints, user roles, and program structures. By doing so, we were able to establish API definitions and custom data flow definitions, and seamlessly integrate these into the Drupal platform through the creation of custom modules.
• Our efforts resulted in the development of a centralized data repository on Drupal, empowering Physicians Insurance to effortlessly distribute content across multiple websites simultaneously, thus eliminating redundant tasks. This data is then displayed on each respective site in accordance with its unique structure and design.
• While further streamlining the process, we implemented a CI/CD system that ensures secure, controlled, and expedited deployment of new features and improvements to the websites. This allows for continuous evolution and enhancement of the overall user experience.
